2 for Tuesday Special Deals!

This week I'm sharing two completely different skill level activities.

The first is for kids in preschool or kindergarten. This set works well for your home or your classroom.
Click the picture to go to my store.

The students will look at the row of pictures and think about which picture comes next to complete the pattern. You can leave the three rows connected on the page and just cut out the individual end pictures to place on the ? . Or you can cut apart the three rows and leave them individually too.

The next product will help your kids understand the meanings of nouns, verbs and adjectives.

They will read the paragraph on each page and try to find what the underlined words could be.  It's a good practice for 2nd or third graders.

These can be found in my store by clicking the pictures above. Or you can go to TPT and type in #2forTuesday in the search bar. My products plus many others will appear. They will be marked at 50% for the whole day on Tuesday. Happy Shopping!

2 For Tuesday! More DEALS!

It's Tuesday again! And here's your half off items for today. These two are from my top 10 sellers.

Cause and Effect is hard for firsties and 2nd graders to grasp. Practicing with these will help them see what it truly means.

Words in Context helps your child to see an unfamiliar word, read the rest of the info about it, and pick the best meaning for that word. This really helps to strengthen their vocabulary!

Locker Fairies

At our school we have something called Locker Fairies. Locker Fairies leave things in lockers every once in a while to only a few children. It's always a surprise and it's usually something that child really needs. We (yes, the teachers or other adults at our school are the Locker Fairies, but shhhhhhh! don't tell anyone!) put things like books (if they say they don't have many books in their homes), school supplies, fun things, socks, coats, and even P.J's. We listen to what the students are saying and if we notice a child is in need of something, one of us will take care of it. We also stick one of these attached signs on the items, so they know where the stuff comes from.  These tags are free and you can grab them in my store. Just be sure to leave me some lovin so I know if you liked them or not!

There are times when those who don't get a surprise say they want something from the Locker Fairy and we just say, that WE want the Locker Fairy to visit us too!

It has been such a heart warming thing to share with our students that I thought you too might want to do this with your students. Please grab the Locker Fairy sign here.

2 for Tuesday

Welcome Back! It's 2 For Tuesday again!

Today I'm offering two of my favorites that I like to play with kids.

Kids love to play Vowel Teams Sweep. It's a game where the kids have to read the two words on the card. (Those two words have the same vowel team on them.) If they can read the card they get to keep it. There are some special cards that tell them to trade with someone, grab some more cards, or lose their cards. That makes it more fun to play!

Nonsense Word Parts and Mix & Match is a great way to practice the sounds that can be found in many words. Nonsense Words is an initial consonant that connects with a vowel and final consonant.  Mix & Match uses blends to match with a vowel and final consonant.

If you want to find these specials and many others, all you have to do, is type #2forTuesday in the search bar of TPT. But you can only do this on Tuesdays. I hope you find some great things.

Jump In For the JUNE Top Pinterest Picks

June is here and the end of the year is even closer (or there for some of you already!) Now we are on to how we will spend our summer and what will we accomplish?

I'm joining with my friends from Pawsitively TeachingJust Reed, and Inspired Owl's Corner to share my top 3 June Picks. I hope you find something fun for yourself. Be sure to go to their blogs and see many other fun picks from other teachers.

First thing we have to focus on is Father's day. None of us would be anywhere without our fathers. I sure hope that the relationship that you have with your father is a good solid one. This idea could also be used for a grandfather in your life. I am truly fortunate to still have my dad in my life. He's 94 years young and just a few weeks ago he told me that he thinks he is slowing down.  . . . that's right. . he's a go-er! He still lives in the same house he was born in and can drive, cook, and takes good care of himself. . . by himself. But what can I give him? What does he need? This picture would be a perfect gift from some of his great grand children.

Kids and water is always a fun combination. Add in something to draw with and you've got a big hit on your hand.

If you have a pool these might be fun to use in it. But if you don't have a pool, these would be great to help cool down some kids and get rid of some energy too!

I hope you found some fun things to do this summer. And maybe you could even check out more favorite pins by clicking on any of the blogs listed below. They love to hear comments if you like what you see there. So leave them some summer lovin!

Thanks for stopping by!

Custom Door Signs for Your Staff

I bet that most of you have the traditional name plate
next to your classroom door.
It's functional and has a purpose.

But wouldn't you like something cuter?
Something more specific to who you are?
Something more colorful?
How about something like this?

Maybe you'd like one for the librarian?

Maybe the Secretary?

Even the classroom aides or paraprofessionals
can have one.
I can make these for you. You can tell me the names of the staff, the grade or subject they teach, a little bit about them, and I will make it for you. Once you buy it, you will email me with the specifics and I'll make them for you. I'll email you a PDF within 2 days. Then you can print them, laminate them, and hang them by their classroom doors.

Buying this set gives you 10 signs. If you need more, you can purchase a 2nd license and that gets you 10 more signs. If you still need more, grab another 2nd license and then you get 10 more.

I will work with you to be sure that you are getting exactly what you want.  I hope you'll take me up on this. You can grab them here
