Parts of Speech. It May Be Perfect for YOU!

If your school is like my school, you are getting ready for some end of the year assessments. My kids have been so focused on fluency and comprehension that we almost forgot to work on other areas. 

I went to my stash to see what I had that could help my kids with other skills. I found one that I made last summer. I used it with my kids today and it was very helpful to them as an introduction to nouns, verbs, and adjectives. 

It's called Parts of Speech Spring Hunt. 

Here are some close up pictures of what a card looks like.

You can use this in a center, small group, as a Scoot game, or post these around the room so they can hunt to find them and write the answers on their recording sheets.

Vacation News and a Giveaway!

I'm on vacation with less than a day left. If you remember our Michigan winter was brutal. So spending a week at Clearwater Beach, Florida couldn't come soon enough. And now it's almost over!

Along with relaxing at the beach and by the pool in awesome 85 degree weather, I have stayed connected to TPT and Facebook. It's been really hard seeing everyone's new projects and feeling that I should be making something too.

But this is my vacation, so I need to let it go!

I wasn't even sure if I could post on my blog using my iPad. But it looks like this might work.

DJ Inkers Made Some Changes

If any of you like DJ Inkers clip art and fonts you will want to read this news. 

They recently changed the way their licenses are used. If you go to their website, you can read more details. But here's a few of the changes in a nutshell.

• We no longer require our copyright information to be posted on every page of your projects.
• We no longer limit the earning potential of a specific product.
• In order for us to protect our copyrights, we still must require an annual license for the commercial use of our products. But, we've got some GREAT news for YOU that sweetens the deal! Hooray! When you have a current commercial license with DJ Inkers, you will now get a 30% discount on ALL of your orders with us!!!
• There is now ONE DJ Inker's commercial license available (instead of 3)
• If you have purchased a license, your projects posted during that calendar year are covered with no renewal necessary. If you wish to post NEW projects after that year is up, you will need to renew your license... but all previous projects are covered. 

I think if you're a DJ Inker fan, you'll agree with me that this is a great value to all of us. If you're interested in grabbing your own license, please go to their site and read up on it. If you have any questions, they are very helpful and friendly to talk to. They want to work together with us.
