It's APRIL! That means only one thing. . . we have survived WINTER!
Many of you are on spring break this week and maybe you have some extra time to browse through Pinterest to find some things to do this month. Easter was last month, so the things that I found really center more around EARTH DAY or just colorful fun things. Hopefully the white snowy stuff is gone until next winter. Let's push forward to bright sunshine and colors!
I'm joining with my friends from Pawsitively Teaching, Just Reed, and Inspired Owl's Corner to share my top 3 April Picks. I hope you find something fun for yourself. Be sure to go to their blogs and see many other fun picks from other teachers.
I'm a sucker for handprint artwork. This is so cool and makes me smile! Imagine shrinking these and making them into note cards. Wouldn't that be neat!

I am a pack rat! I save cardboard egg cartons. I have a nice collection of them. NOW this is something I can do with them and what a great idea to teach children about nurturing. With this project they can learn how to take care of something that is their very own to treasure.
That handprint board is too cute! It would be an adorable notecard. Thank you for sharing your Spring pins and linking up with us! :)

I love the name art activity, I think I incorporate a flower and weed hunt first and then let them use what they collect!

ReplyDeleteTriple the Love In Grade 1
That name craft is such a great idea! Would be a great nature smart activity if you use multiple intelligences!
ReplyDeleteLove the name pictures! We just did this in my class and the kids had so much fun searching for all the nature items to use! We ended up just making "Nature Collages" because making names was a little hard for my Kinders!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
